Its primary purpose is to permit the development, maintenance and operation of an efficient, co-ordinated and economical Transmission System.
Metering & Data Exchange Code (MDEC)
The Water Transmission Code is a regulatory document that outlines the procedures, standards and requirements for the transmission of water within Abu Dhabi. Its primary purpose is to allow operation of the Water Trunk Mains System and provide controlled connection arrangements at the entry and exit points between the Water Trunk Mains System, Water Producers and Distribution Companies (DISCOs).
Water Transmission Code (WTC)
The Meter Data Exchange Code is a regulatory document that outlines the technical standards, data collection & exchange and compliance for metering within Abu Dhabi. Its primary purpose is ensuring accuracy & reliability in measuring energy and water, enabling fair and transparent data exchange, and supporting regulatory oversight.
